I've got two words for ya - Sar-casm. If you aren't hip with that, you probably should just click to the next blog. I blog about my daily life, current hot topics, stupid conversations, or just about anything that is on my mind.

When Worlds Collide

The man on the left is my roommate from college. To protect him from media scrutiny, I will call him "Slant." Yes, he is part Asian, and just became a dad. The confused looking person on the right is my brother, and I shall call him Jagermeister, because he is German (as I am). Both went to Penn State - one graduated in '94, and the other in 2003. The cool thing is that both get along very well with each other and feed off of each other's humor. I just love this picture, and that is why I am sharing it with you.

Go Penn State!

The Move

Mung and I had the duty of moving all of our stuff from room 518 to room 705 at Cedarbrook in-between our junior and senior years, which meant, we also had to make sure that the carpets were professionally cleaned. We managed to find a really good deal for like $30, or something outlandish like that. They did a good job, but we were still around that night, and of course, we decided to party with the next-door neighbors. We put cardboard on the floors so that we could negotiate our way to the bathroom without putting our dirty-stinkin’ feet on the floor.

I remember the one neighbor’s name was Doc, but I can’t remember the others. I used to piss off Doc by singin’ the Shaquille O’Neal song “What’s Up Doc, Can We Rock.” However, this night we, for some reason, kept playing the Billy Squire Song “My Kind of Lover” over and over again. Mung probably was not happy, as no songs containing loud screaming and inaudible music was played. However, we were inebriated enough, so the night was a lot of fun. Plus, somehow, we never made a mess – we hung out on the balcony the entire night, drinking Coors Lights or Milwaukee’s Best, and listening to Squire rock the house (before he came out of the closet).

It was the week before the start of our senior year – it was nice to go up a little earlier, so that we could ease into a new semester by drinking ourselves silly. The next day, we moved all of our furniture – not that it was much because the places came pre-furnished. But still, it was quite a bit to do whilst being hung-over. We moved into an apartment that was much more spacious, and had a great view of the apartments across the street (Alexander Court) – ones in which we would get hours of entertainment from girls who “didn’t know” we were watching them (they knew, and they loved to tease us). I remember one night when we had a party, a few of our roommates actually went over there and talked to the ladies. I will never forget the leopard undies. Ah, college, I miss you so.
